Resumo: | The main objective of the present study was to analyze the relationship between respiratory diseases, asthma and bronchitis in children under 5 years of age and the meteorological variables: temperature, air humidity and rainfall index in the city Of Uberlândia-MG, in the period from 2013 to 2015. A database of the meteorological variables, temperature, humidity and rainfall of the period from 2013 to 2015 provided by the Climatology Laboratory of the Federal University of Uberlândia .And monthly data on asthma and bronchitis care in children under 5 years of age in the 8 Units of Integrated Care - UIU of Uberlândia, provided by the Information Center of the Municipal Secretary of Health of Uberlândia. Using the Excell, the parametric test "Linear Correlation of Pearson" was used. In the descriptive analysis through the test it was possible to observe that the meteorological variables in Uberlândia presented a weak and very weak association with the number of attendances of asthma and bronchitis . It is recommended the implementation of the Health Surveillance of population exposed to air pollution - VIGIAR through the implementation of Sentinel Units for better monitoring of respiratory diseases and identification of other etiologies and the implementation of Atmospheric Pollutants Monitoring Laboratory. |
