Resumo: The Pentecostal Christianity in general in Brazil has grown in a systemic way in recent years. Several denominations have invested and expanded its visibility especially in electronic media. Messages reach a growing number of people, be faithful, members, fans or not, seeking to "strengthen being", that is, emotional, and try to find encouragement to the possible evils of life in various fields. These actions are developed through the use of arguments that work in strategic and attractive way from elements that qualify the say in order to promote interaction and loyalty of the faithful. Our proposal is anchored in understanding the production of sense of religious discourse practiced by the Evangelical Community Heal Our Land (SNT) in the electronic media. Qualitative and exploratory character, the research shows, among various issues, concepts relating to argumentation and the religious field, argumentative types, resources and argumentative elements built by religious denomination through the recording, transcription and analysis of discursive sequences program "Life with Hope" broadcast on Radio Brazil FM Sara and Genesis Television Network on specific dates in the year 2015. We appealed especially to the theoretical frameworks of argumentation studies relying mostly on Perelman & Olbrechts-Tyteca (2005), Ducrot (2001) and Meyer (2008) and studies on media and religion based on Cunha (2007), Fausto Neto (2004), Campos (2004, 2008) and Mariano (2005). We note that throughout history Protestantism was characterized as a stream of Christianity that strategically used to promote communication proselytizing and be subdivided into various doctrinal structures that have grown, especially in Brazil, throughout the twentieth century. The analyzes have emerged the use of argumentative strategies through electronic media through statements which cause meaning effects which highlight the renunciation of worldly, obedience to the divine, the word efficiency, credibility triumphant examples, the safety ' Biblical truth "and full trust in God.
