Resumo: | In this work it was presented how to obtain the best result and the maximization of the ethanol content of sugarcane through mathematical modeling. For this, a study and data collection was carried out involving three plants delimited in the region corresponding to the Northwest of São Paulo and the Triângulo Mineiro. Thus, the main producers of sugarcane suppliers from these plants were visited during the two and a half year period, and a spreadsheet containing all the field and laboratory data resulting from this work in loco was elaborated. Therefore, the variables were treated statistically for their linearity or non-linearity to define the behavior. In addition, multivariate correlations were also investigated using the IBM SPSS Statistics software. In this way, the variables were selected according to their attraction force and determined to be used in the mathematical model with the objective of increasing the ethanol yield in liters per ton of processed sugarcane. Subsequently, the model was defined as Linear Programming with integer, binary and continuous variables. Thus, the model was structured following the steps for development and solution of the Operational Research model. Finally the model generated in the GAMS software was tested in the mills and validated, reaching the final result of 93 liters of ethanol per ton of processed sugarcane, which corresponds to the reality of the mills using the same parameters. |
