Resumo: | This study presents a research on the Paulínia Cinematographic Pole located in the interior of the State of São Paulo/Brazil. The objective was to make an analysis of the activities of the Paulínia Cinematographic Pole in a period that corresponds from 2005 to 2017. For that, we contextualize some Cinema Poles in Brazil and in the world as a way to understand how they are structured. The processes of industrialization of brazilian cinema were also analyzed with the intention of reflecting on a possible industrialization of the Paulínia Cinematographic Pole. However, we conclude that the Paulínia Cinematographic Pole has a complex infrastructure that has already contributed to the production of cultural goods for Brazil, where 44 national films were produced, some with international repercussions and others with excellent results at the brazilian box office. With two Film Schools, a Film Festival and a pretension to develop Cinematographic Tourism, the Paulínia Cinematographic Pole, built with public investments, faces, in its recent history, political imbroglios that have affected and continue to contribute to the paralysis of its activities and consequently abandonment of public buildings already built. |
