Resumo: Introduction: Lymphedema is the result of lymphatic drainage deficit and the overload in the lymphatic system, which can affect the life of the individual with stigma and disability associated with economic, physical and psychosocial consequences. In Latin America so far there is no website focused on the lymphedema education for health care professionals. Objective: To develop an online portal about lymphedema for health care professionals. Method: The Design Thinking methodology was utilized. In the "Discover" phase, there were interviews with enterostomal therapist nurses and desk search; in the "Define" phase, the problems reported by the participants were listed. The suggested topics came from scientific articles and the main doubts from the interview that were identified by the wrong answers. In the "Develop" phase, there were the brainstorming sessions and the prototype website creation www.portaldelinfedema.com.br; finally, in the "Deliver" phase, there were the evaluation and adjustment of the website for the publication. Results: Phase 1: “Discover” 97 nurses were interviewed and some points were identified to be cover in the website, as the fact that 25% of the participants treats patients with lymphedema and to engage the patient in the treatment is a challenge to 60% of the participants. Phase 2: "Define" in this step, the answers from the questionnaires were transferred to an Excel spreadsheet where graphs were created to support in the visualization. Phase 3: "Develop" – with brainstorming was defined the tool as an interactive website. Phase 4: "Deliver" after the prototype approval, it was developed www.portaldelinfedema.com.br, a website open for the public. Conclusion: An online portal about lymphedema was developed for health care professionals.
