Resumo: This Research Aims To Understand The Meanings And Senses Attributed By Professors And Students To The Access And Permanence Of Black Quota Students In Public University. We Look To Reflect Upon The Specificities In The Paths Taken By The Black Population In Order To Enter And To Stay In Higher Education, Considering Family Histories, School Trajectories, Life Projects And Particularities Born From Racial And Socioeconomic Components. It"S Noticeable That Graduation And Educational Activities Are Seen As Possibilities Of Social Transformation Through Which They Overcome Discrimination And Racial Prejudices That Afflict The Briazilian Society. The Research Was Centered On Semi-Structured Interviews With Six Black Students In Technology, Bachelors And Teaching Fields Of A Public Federal Institution, And Included The Participation Of Three Professors Representing The Three Academic Areas And A Member Of The Management Team Of The University.
