Resumo: | Born And Raised In The City Of Rio De Janeiro, The Artist Brígida Baltar Graduated In Plastic Arts In The 1980s. Participating In Collective Salons And Exhibitions Since Then, She Developed A Poetics Of Her Own, Marked By Her Delicacy And Sensorial Touch. In Developing Her Language Over The Years, She Began Her Career From Herself First Working From And With Her Homely Space. With The Poignant Need To Get Out, She Started Doing Something Bigger And Relatively More Subjective; The "Humidities Project". Collecting Natural Humidities (Fog, Sea Air And Dew) She Began To Stimulate The Collective Imaginary And Brought To The Fore Questions Concerning The Place Of The Human Being In The World. In The Theoretical Field, Many Authors And Artists Since The Romantic Period Have Developed Reflections On The "Place Of Man" (Human Being) With Regard To Nature.
