Resumo: | This paper aims to analyze which of the discursive linguistic perspectives for language teaching are included in the textbooks adopted in the 2nd cycle of secondary education in Angola that can provide the work with writing evidenced in the speech genres. The collection used in this paper is entitled Portuguese Language 10th 11th and 12th class, organized by Olga Magalhães, Fernanda Costa and Lília Silva. This paper is justified by the fact that the “writing workshop” is a task that promotes the development of the student's writing skills. The theoretical discussion in this dissertation was based on authors: Antunes (2009), Bakhtin ([1992] 2011), Maingueneau (2011, 2015) and Rojo and Barbosa (2015). Three writing workshops were selected in each volume of the Portuguese language collection of the 2nd cycle of secondary education. The criterion used in the selection of workshops is the number of units in the collection and consequently, the number of workshops in the units. In the analysis of the workshops, the following categories of analysis were adopted: discourse genres, contextualization/design of the writing workshops, the thematic axis of the workshops/text collection and Coherence between the activity proposal and the students' age range. The results of the analysis reveal that the concept of adjacent language in the workshops is the concept of language as a communication tool, more specifically linked to mechanical writing, which indicates that the activities of constant textual production in the writing workshops are against the real use of the language evidenced in the speech genres. |
