Resumo: This dissertation aims to establish intersections of the literature of Grande Sertão: Veredas, novel by Brazilian writer João Guimarães Rosa, with the conceptual creation of Gilles Deleuze, sometimes in the company of Felix Guattari. Initially, it is about the idea of capturing forces of difference and of the sertão, meaning “the backcountry”, in the expression of their thoughts, and how the two authors, escaping the tradition of representation, of mimesis and of shackles imposed by the primacy of identity, made their writings affirmative potencies of life. We investigate how Deleuze's philosophical writing, in its criticism of the dogmatic image of thought, approaches Rosa's literary writing for the benefit of the metamorphoses that fit us. Therefore, aligned with Deleuze's thought, we seek to investigate how from the Grande Sertão, that is, the possibility of thinking about the majority, the representation or the identity of such a space, the veredas escape, the paths, the escape lines, the minority-becomings, and how such deviations permit the encounter with the dissimilarity, with what is unspeakable, inaudible, which shakes everything that imposes itself as a dominant form of expression. We are going to see how such escape lines cross the language of Grande Sertão: Veredas, deterritorializing it, producing a link of the individual in the political-immediate, intersecting author and sertão in a writing exercise whose almost-musical syntax takes the language to a limit. Finally, we analyze how Riobaldo's narrative engenders rhizomatic interlocutions: symbiosis experiences of the reader with a sertão unrelated to the linearity of chronological time, and how Diadorim draws Riobaldo irresistibly into an experience of becoming with the difference, and how he finds a new life with the jagunçagem, meaning “a group of poor nomad warriors”, the war machine, with his animal-becomings, whose revolutionary potency, which resists the attempts of appropriation by the sedentary state, deterritorializes, transforms and revitalizes our thinking and our feeling.
