Resumo: The use of technology in education has been widely discussed nowadays. Increasingly, its insertion as a tool to support education becomes an important research topic. Among these different technologies is Mobile Augmented Reality, which has also been the focus of scientific discussion in several recent works. The use of Mobile Augmented Reality applications in education provides educators with a tool to support teaching and learning, adding to the process an option to practice activities that often cannot be replicated in the real world. Considering the increasing use of these applications, the search for guidelines that can help developers in the development of these applications for education is presented as a research opportunity, detailing processes and steps to be followed for this task. In this context, this work has as main objective to present the elaboration process of a set of guidelines that serve as an instruction guide to guide developers to create applications of Mobile Augmented Reality for education. The proposal was substantiated by carrying out a systematic mapping of the literature and based on a theoretical framework. In this way, this set of guidelines was constructed and evaluated by a panel of experts in the area, proposing a sequence of instructions to be followed to assist in the development of these applications. The main results obtained during the research were the verification of the absence of guidelines for the construction of mobile augmented reality applications, which made possible, through this research, the creation and validation of a set of mobile augmented reality guidelines that will help developers in the construction of applications, following the sequence of proposed instructions.
