Resumo: The present dissertation makes a quanti-qualitative analysis of the scientific production of the Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA, related to the courses in the area of Education and Education in Natural Sciences, being two Graduations, one Specialization and one Master, from their Final Works, from its creation until the year 2017, when the University completes ten years of existence. For the accomplishment of this work the database was used available in the institutional repository of the University and the method of evaluation was through Scientometry. In this sense the present work is composed of two manuscripts, the first one is a bibliographical revision on information science, where an analysis is made on the origin and evolution of Scientometry as an area of science and its trajectory in Brazil and its importance for teaching processes. From this important foundation, the second manuscript is developed, where the analyzes of the academic productions of UNIPAMPA, the main objective of this Dissertation, are carried out. In this study 152 academic productions were observed, being 73 Completion Works, 43 Specialization Monographs and 36 Master's Dissertations. The small number of Egressos in relation to the number of Tickets stands out, fact that emphasizes in the Graduation. There is a superiority of women in the courses observed; are adopted qualitative methodologies in most of the works, and that different themes are addressed, but with emphasis on those related to education and teaching practice, given that they are coherent because they are courses aimed at Teaching. But it can not be said that there are saturated areas, but rather a little more addressed and there are still many lines of research that need to be more stimulated and studied within this institution. Based on the results obtained in this research, it was possible to have a panorama of the scientific production in the Graduations and Postgraduate studies investigated and of the important role of the Final Works of Course have and that should be significant both for the question of the professional teacher, but also socially relevant.
