This work has as objective to consider the management of the solid residues of the Centro de Tecnologia through the implatation of the selective collect. It searched the involvement and commitment of the teachers, employees and students for the implantation of the selective collect of the solid residues. A pilot project was developed for implantation of the selective collect in the Centro de Tecnologia for posterior implantation in the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. It was become fulfilled separation of the solid residues for diagnosis, quantification and characterization, aiming at to the definition of collectors and the disposal of the same ones. Later was defined collects it and the disposal of the collectors. One together accomplished with the community of the related center a work of sensitization for the participation in the separation of the residues in the origin and correct disposal in the collectors.
