Resumo: | The main purpose of this study was to develop an information system to control the Chemical Reference Standards of the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia (SQRFB), to allow the management of activities related to the develop-ment of a process to make the SQRFB available to the target public. The aim was to verify the relevant aspects of the areas involved on the plan-ning of this process, utilizing scientific and technical concepts on archiving science, the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia/Subcommittee of Reference Stan-dards, connected to the pharmaceutical area, and also to the informatics area, with emphasis on Information Technology (IT). In a first moment a research on the relation between Information science and IT was carried out, whereas informatics and archival science are the core of this re-search, in order to approach the importance of creating transdisciplinary architecture. In a second stage, the technical aspects of information System were identified, according to the structure and management of documents a process called Gerenciamento Eletrônico de Documentos GED (Elec-tronic Document Management), aiming the implementation of a system at the SCMR/FARBRAS (Subcommittee of Reference Standards/Brazilian Pharmacopoeia). In a third stage, the contributions for the effective use of the information system to be implemented at the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia were presented. The proposed system was created according to the work-flow elaborated to the process of making the SQRFB available, using Web tools for the graphic interface and database resources MySQL. The sys-tem developed proved to have good results on the control and manage-ment of the SQRFB. Therefore, this system was implemented at the SCMR/CPRFB and, in addition to that, as a suggestion, we refer the conti-nuity of the implementation of a comprehensive information system, elabo-rated for CPRFB, so that in the future this system can be integrated to the SQRFB information system. Thus, the treatment to be carried out, serves well for improving the development of devices susceptible to the leverage recovering and managing information within the CPRFB. |
