Resumo: Although little studied in the Brazilian territory, the lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) can be an alternative of diversity in the source of income mainly of the small producer. In addition, the demand for food with less use of agrochemicals is increasing, so the use of bioproducts formulated through microorganisms present in the soil, especially in the rhizosphere of plants, can be seen as an alternative to agriculture. Fungi of the genus Trichoderma and bacteria of the genus Bacillus can stimulate the initial growth of plants and also promote the protection against possible infections in the roots. Therefore, the objective of the present work was to evaluate the application of isolated or combined bioproducts in the initial development of lentil seedlings. The first experiment was conducted in the laboratory and had as objective to verify the action of high doses, in the treatment of seeds, of bioproducts based on Trichoderma sp. and Bacillus sp., alone or in combination, on germination, initial development and mitotic index of lentil seedlings ten days after sowing. In the second greenhouse experiment, the objective was to evaluate the bio - product action based on Bacillus spp., Applied to the treatment of seeds in comparison to the application in the sowing furrow, in the emergence and initial development of root and aerial part of lentil seedlings at 15 and 30 days after sowing. Through the results obtained in the first experiment, high doses of the bioproducts based on Trichoderma sp. (10,0 g Majestic®) and Bacillus sp. (10,0 ml Rizos®), combined or not, negatively influence the germination and initial development of lentil seedlings. For the mitotic index, antiproliferative and proliferative action occurred in root tip cells, in relation to the control treatment. In the second experiment, it was observed that the application of the bioproduct formulated with Bacillus spp., Both in the seed treatment application and in the sowing furrow, effectively contributed to the initial development of root and fresh mass of lentil seedlings at 15 days after sowing. Therefore, through the results obtained in this work, we can conclude that the action of these microorganisms depends on many factors, such as the type of substrate, strain used, temperature, applied dose, among other essential aspects for good development and plant- microorganism interaction.
