Resumo: The advancement of technology over the last few years instigated the creation of sev-eral enterprises around the world, encouraging the emergence of technological incu-bators that started to provide space, infrastructure, communication channels and or-ganizational support to entrepreneurs who want to structure and leverage their busi-nesses. Despite the support received, many managers do not have full control over all assets related to their business, especially those that are considered intangible. Such insights can lead to risks, which if not managed properly can lead to serious and chronic problems throughout the various stages of the business life cycle, or even cause the end of a business. Therefore, it is fundamental to establish organizational risk management methodologies that are allied to the strategy of each business. Thus, the objective of this dissertation is to propose a modeling that includes concepts of key performance indicators, analytic hierarchy process and organizational diagnosis, and that allows incubated technology-based firms to control the organizational risks arising from intangible assets. The modeling developed was applied in 32 companies distrib-uted in seven incubators in Rio Grande do Sul state, all of them attached to universities. The results point to the main organizational risks in general, by capital and by group of intangible assets. This Dissertation presents the application of the modeling in the firms, simulating possible actions to seek to minimize the impact generated by each one of the organizational risks identified. Data were compiled from all companies par-ticipating in the study and analyzed the most recurrent risks and their likely impacts across the universe of companies, by capital and by incubator.
