Resumo: This work presents a phenomenological study of the contributions of the Non-Geographic Community of Agents of Biodynamic Agriculture in Brazil to upgrade the debate on Sustainable Rural Development referent to the trees and forests in the daily life of rural life. Through this work it was sought to demonstrate that the set of practices and meanings that the agents of Brazilian Biodynamic Agriculture present in relation to trees and forests attributes to this reality a sui generis character that contains in itself valuable perceptions about the dynamics of rural life, building through daily life a relationship of rapprochement between human beings and trees and forests. Thus, the research starts from the apprehension, through semi-structured interviews and observations carried out between June and December 2019, of the practices and meanings that the agents in evidence nurture with the environment and the landscapes that surround them. In order to carry out this work, a bibliographical review was also carried out in order to understand the symbolic universe of Biodynamic Agriculture and also in order to address theoretical references relevant to the social construction of reality and phenomenological methodology for investigating reality, Sustainable Rural Development and the relationship of human beings towards trees and forests. Subsequently, the results were organized, triangulated, categorized, analyzed, presented and discussed. The results obtained showed that the reality of the Community of Agents of Biodynamic Agriculture in Brazil regarding trees and forests can be considered as a Sui generis reality of great importance for the improvement of the understanding of Sustainable Rural Development, mainly on the theme of coevolution of the human beings with Nature, having its importance based not only on the diverse practices and meanings directly referring to trees and forests, but having its greatest importance on the capacity of emancipation of human thought from fragmented and dissociated thought structures arising from modern, mechanistic and economical to apprehend and project to the world. Thus, it was apprehended that this community has in its philosophical and practical core of everyday life, in its worldview, a truly grandiose set of contributions to deepen the issues related to Sustainable Rural Development, in order to rethink the relationship that the society of human beings nourishes with Planet Earth.
