Resumo: | The advance of technology in Lighting Systems had an important moment with the insertion of LEDs, as it significantly increased the efficiency of all systems. Allied to this growth, there is also the growth of the so-called IoT (Internet of Things) that enable the connection between devices and the Internet, which makes monitoring, maintenance and even predictions in intelligent systems much more effective. This work makes use of the Internet of Things to propose a Telemanagement System for Public Street Lighting using a long range and low power, wide area network (LPWAN). Such a system consists of a device that goes attached to the luminaire, besides the wireless communication and the management software. Laboratory tests are carried out to prove the measurements taken, as well as field tests for effective communication and dimming, addressing the results in terms of energy efficiency. A financial analysis is also carried out to prove the economic viability of this system and a proposal to adapt the NBR ABNT 5101 regulations for alternative classification of the routes. |
