Resumo: | The last decades have been marked by profound technological changes, social, economic, mainly environmental, that has affected the strategies of planning. One of the main tools used by public agencies in the preparation of territorial planning are environmental maps of permanent preservation, because this type of mapping gives the potential of environments in an integrated way, bringing their natural features with its restrictions. In this job we found up the degree of environmental deterioration of each one of the 9 (nine) municipalities belonging to the Fourth Colony of Immigration in Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, located between the geographic coordinates 29°10'26'' and 29°57'43'' south latitude and 53°01'14'' and 53° 40'05'' west longitude, occupying approximately 290,407 hectares. The work was developed in the first approximation and considered the environmental parameters: water blade, hypsometric maps, slope and areas of permanent preservation. Was developed a specific methodology for the analysis of parameters and we find out results in that the municipalities with better environmental characteristics were Pinhal Grande, Nova Palma and Agudo. In second place were the municipalities Silveira Martins, Ivorá, Faxinal do Soturno and Restinga Sêca. The worst environmental situation covered the municipalities of Dona Francisca, and São João do Polêsine. |
