Resumo: | In this work, we try to understand the functioning of the discourse of, and about solidarity, at Feira do Cooperativismo de Santa Maria (Feicoop), an annual event held since 1994, which brings together businesses that are based on principles of solidarity, organization and cooperation, seeking spaces for subjects in the current scenario of exclusion and competition. The research corpus is composed of posters of the 15 editions of Feicoop, from 1994 to 2008. The methodology is based on the theoretical principles of French Discourse Analysis, and consists in the study of sayings on solidarity from the notion of metaphorical effect (PÊCHEUX, 1997; ORLANDI, 2003) which is constituted through relations of paraphrase, polysemy and metaphor which originate in slips and/or displacement of senses. The analysis we have undertaken has allowed us to claim that there is a nuance between slip and displacement of senses, showing that the solidarity addressed at Feicoop is of another type, since it is ruled by an economical premises; however, it is popular, cooperative and alternative. Thus, through solidarity, some of the senses of capitalism are metaphorized and displaced. Through paraphrases, the word solidarity means a social practice that results in another economy, constituting a displacement of senses in which solidarity creates a new economy, due to successive metaphorical effects (slips of sense): Another Economy (the Solidarity Popular Economy). Besides this, the discourse about the solidarity at Feicoop keeps the relation with the discourse of, inseparable. This signals the impossibility of this to be eliminated, considering the organization of a discourse about. Especially, we can say that the repetitions in DA are not aware of the litany of the mnemonic repetition since there is no fully successful submission this impossibility is found in language, in discourse, and in history. |
