Mapeamento de pesquisas com foco na geometria analítica: um estudo da produção acadêmica no período 2015 – 2022

Resumo: The presented study has its theme the Brazilian Academic Production, in Mathematics Teaching area, about Analytical Geometry. It has been originated from the following research questions: What were the main Theoretical and Methodological aspects used to investigate the teaching and learning process of the Analytical Geometry in Brazil from 2015 to 2022? In which educational context the researches have been developed? What are the consensual results observed in the analyzed studies? The main purpose of this study is to analyze the perspectives about the Analytical Geometry, teaching and learning process, which are part of the researches in the Mathematics Education area, which is based on mapping of published researches in the Thesis Catolog and Dissertations of the Improvement Coordination of Graduated Students (CAPES), with a framed time between 2015 and 2022. This is a qualitative bibliographic research, where the data were obtained and treted in a qualitative perspective, supported by Content Analysis. In this case a developed mapping using the search descriptor “Analytical Geometry” and the focused area: Mathematics teaching.Twentysix researches were identified, and then a filed was created containing the main data of these works, and by the end of the analysis. Three categories were determinated for the analysis: The student, the teacher and the material, which were necessary for the synthesis of the results. In the research, it was observed that the student category had a higher number of projects and the students` difficulties were mentioned when it comes to analytical Geometry. In teacher category, it was noticed that the licensed teachers difficulties are in basic concepts of Analytical Geometry, originated by High School deficit. In material category, many kinds of texts were analyzed, such as higher education textbooks, articles related to Analytical Geometry, official documents of basic education, thesis and dissertations, websites of Postgraduated programs in Mathematics teaching area. The analysis of these texts allowed us to perceive the concern by Educational Institutions,in the correct understanding of Analytical Geometry. Since this subject is necessary for the calculations used in exercises of different engineering schools and other types of schools where the differential and integral calculus are used as the basic of its science. The use of the methodologies and theories reinforces the possibility of teaching and learning improvement in Analytical Geometry concepts in both, Basic and Superior Education.
