This work presents a historic legislation related old age and analyzes the law number 10.741 of 1st October 2003, called elderly statute which reinforces and stress the rights of people with age equal or more of 60 years old. In this perspective was valued instituations and social actors which motivated the law as well as repercussion and implications that statute caused in Brazil after its approval having as basis the online journal Folha de São Paulo. Realize the precariousness and lack of spread off laws by public organs. Where statute arises as advance of legislation aiming to guarantee conquests to elderly generation in Brazil. From de point of view integrationist occurs in the same way and needs becomes basically the same. Thus, be perceived as a proposal for a mandatory relations in this field, so there is a merger and integration of public and social policies in this countries also. In this context, it is crucial to permanent surveillance and pressure from the authorities so that they not allow the obsolescence and lithe effectiveness of Brazilian law.
