Resumo: In the 21st century, in the face of the Fourth Revolution or Revolution 4.0, information and knowledge have become essential for society, as well as studies related to skills linked to new individual, collective, organizational and essential competencies. In this context, it has become essential, both for organizations and for stakeholders, to approach for a relationship of mutual exchange of information and knowledge. Thus, this study analyzed the relationship between these two entities within the scope of the financial market. From the point of view of publicly traded banking organizations, the use of Value Co-creation was verified for the improvement of their communication channels, and, from the perspective of the Buy and Hold investors, they were investigated, through the Infocomunicational Competencies bias, the profile, the communication channels, the fundamentals and the most valued indicators for decision making in the acquisition of a variable income asset for the long term. The resource used to capture the information of both was the application of questionnaires. These quastionnaires were sent to banks, via IR sites and e-mail, and to Buy and Hold investors, through social media and specialized sites. With the data from Buy and Hold investors and applied inferences, a Design Science Research method was created based on the UML language and Infocommunicational Skills. Finally, it was found that banks make little use of exchanging experiences with their Buy and Hold investors. On the other hand, investors base their decisions mainly on formal communication channels, IR sites and results reports, as well as using the fundamentals and indicators in their analysis. For future work, it is recommended to develop artifacts for other business sectors, both in Brazil and abroad, as well as to investigate the profile of these investors in these realities.
