Resumo: | The objective of this study, as an area of concentration in sociocultural and pedagogical studies of Physical Education, is to present an analysis of the function of the school space and the Leisure space and what exists in common between them, in the sense of understanding. Regarding methodology, the study is characterized by bibliographical research and the discussion of results and possibilities will be presented in the form of an article, with the intention of answering our research problem: What is common between the role of school Physical Education and the role of Leisure? We followed a path that provided an understanding of the role of the school, the role of school Physical Education and Leisure and what is common between these spaces and the existence or not of the possibility of working Leisure in School Physical Education. Our hypothesis that a mistake is established when we understand that Physical Education should develop the practice of Leisure at School was confirmed, accompanied by the understanding that this mistake is sustained by the fact that both spaces work with the dimension of body culture, in addition to that, both in Leisure and in Physical Education at school, corporal practices can be developed through ludic experiences. However, they constitute spaces with different objectives. |
