Resumo: | Precision Agriculture (PA) is an innovative technology that has proven to be an important management tool in a rural enterprise. This study aims to estimate the total amount of inputs such as limestone, phosphorus, potassium and sulfur in the implementation by the average rate and the variable rate, to compare the costs of buying these fertilizers for soybean plantation by the traditional method and the method of PA and relate them to the costs of implementing the PA. To analyze the costs of purchasing fertilizers we compared the technical recommendation based on the average of each field of application and variable application rate based on soil analysis extracted by a specialized company. It was saved $134.14/ha in the acquisition of inputs, in other words, 19.86% of the necessary amount if we use conventional farming. The implementation of PA practically pays itself in the first year, since the initial cost of precision agriculture is $135,00/ha, in a farm with planting area as the study. We can say that Precision Agriculture is a tool that can be used strategically in the management of rural enterprises, as it is a source of information that serves as basis for improving assertiveness of decisions in property management. |
