Resumo: The electronics embedded in agricultural machinery is a technological package indispensable for the development of world agriculture. It is known that the systems help agriculture in increasing productivity and reducing crop losses. However, as the soil on which these agricultural machines transit is usually irregular, this provides a long exposure of electronic systems to vibrations and mechanical shocks. In this context, the purpose of this paper is to improvement of apparatus existent for accelerated life tests on electronic system. The paper consisted in initially characterizing the current aspects of the electronics embedded in agricultural machines. Based on this found, the previous research was carried out in patent databases where no system capable of applying vibrations and mechanical shocks simultaneously was used for accelerated life tests. Knowing the existence of a apparatus developed in the laboratory, the functional analysis tool was applied to it, identifying the global function (to provide vibrations and mechanical shocks), sub functions and the assembly responsible for performing them. In next stage, was realized the dimensional acquisition of all the components, which provided the digital model and construction of the new prototype. Having the new apparatus, several tests were applied, found that apparatus is can to create vibrations and mechanical shocks randomly automatically with intensities ten times higher than those found in agricultural machines.
