The current set to a backdrop of continuous improvement aligned to better use of public resources for the execution of actions extension, university extension time work comprises a study of the management and the academic and administrative processes in the Dean of University Extension Federal Pampa, in the way they are being internalized and implemented within the university, seeking referrals for other Public Institutions of Higher Education. In order to advance to the increase in research studies in this area, is that this work develops a proposal for diagnosis, restructuring the role of the Brazilian public education institutions, working in line with the planning of their institutional actions, the search for a comprehensive and effective management of public resources generated by university extension, accompanying her devolution process from the feature until his execution. To meet this objective the research extended the review of the literature broadly, given the themes university extension - design and financing process management , integrated management systems and indicators , as well as exchange of experience through technical visits to other IFES public in an attempt to improve research, building a foundation of knowledge adapted to the reality of this study . For a qualitative analysis, the method of approach adopted was the case study, through institutional practice, resulting in the observation of the institutional processes of the source investigated. The guiding this study is based on lived experience and commitment, the conceptual basis of the theoretical framework, observation and open interviews in technical visits. Process management of University Extension in UNIPAMPA as well as the monitoring of their practices, demonstrates that the policy of internalization and implementation of resources and focus on continuous improvement of their actions, either by drawing all its internal processes. This work eventually identified the stages of implementation of organizational processes in pursuit of continuous improvement for the implementation of projects and university extension programs focused on the internalization of public resources aligned to an institutional management.
