Resumo: | The study of heritage education in the teaching of history is justified as the conception of cultural concepts linked to the idea of socially produced identity values, seeks to reflect on the meaning of cultural, material and immaterial heritage, culture, identity and memory for groups and basic education institutions. For the development of this research, we sought to reflect on the importance of teaching history in basic education from the heritage education methodology. Considering that the structuring of knowledge is based on existing concepts and that history is not only learned at school, but also in non-formal teaching spaces, the objective is to offer basic education teachers subsidies to the conceptual contents of cultural heritage, identity, memory, in order to help you establish a more direct relationship with the reality close to the students' experiences. School museums can be an excellent tool for pedagogical actions in history classes. Thus, our proposal aims to develop a didactic instrument for teachers of basic education based on heritage education actions, in order to understand how those exhibitions can generate knowledge. Given the importance of this history, this product may contribute, to know the memory of the city of Santa Maria, through research, heritage education and the dissemination of the school’s museums collections, resulting in knowledge and appreciation of these memory spaces by the school community and population. Conclusively, it is desired that the student perceives his role as a historical subject of his city, and collaborates in the construction of educational actions regarding the preservation, conservation, restoration and maintenance of patrimonial assets of the city of Santa Maria. |
