Resumo: The architecture of Brazilian buildings has been presenting constant modifications in the construction techniques and materials used, which reflect directly in the comfort of the buildings. Such changes may be beneficial or detrimental to the enterprise. The acoustic comfort of the building is an important item for the analysis of the built environment, considering that the quality of the human life being is conditioned, among other factors, to the environment that houses it, so it is necessary that the sound level of each environment is suitable for its function or purpose of use. The isolation of impact and airborne noise in building floors is extremely important to obtain comfort, especially in housing. In addition, the residential building is a product to be marketed, where builders seek to reduce costs and optimize their application of financial resources, concentrating investments in attributes that are valued by the target audience. The noise is one of the factors that can interfere in the sale of the property and, consequently, in the customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction. For these reasons, was developed a tool for calculating construction costs of floor systems, to serve as input in choosing systems that are more cost-effective for engineering, real estate and user companies, encouraging the use of elements with adequate sound performance. In this study, acoustic insulation coefficients used were determined in laboratory and field tests that contemplate most of the constructive elements used in the country. The data were obtained from articles and dissertations about acoustic performance of impact and airborne noise and the budgeting was carried out with a commercial software. From the results report of the tool, it can be verified the cost per square meter, total execution cost, compliance with the performance standard ABNT NBR 15575, as well as the acoustic performance level of the simulated horizontal sealing elements. Therefore, the cost analysis tool for floor systems has the advantage of facilitating the simple and fast selection of systems that are more cost-effective regarding execution and noise performance.
