Resumo: | Educommunication in recent years has been the subject of study and also the production of many researchers, research centers, universities and public and private institutions. It is noticed that this interest has surpassed the fields of communication and education and has been consolidating in other areas of knowledge, worried to think their practices by the educomunicative bias. In this sense, the present research has as object the area of studies in Educommunication in the southern region of the country, based on the scientific production presented in three events: Intercom Sul, Educom Sul and Intercom Nacional. The problem seeks to answer the following question: how does the scientific production in Educommunication in the South of the country occur from events in this region? Therefore, the main objective of this study is to elaborate a diagnosis about the field of Educommunication in the south of the country , Based on the bibliometric analysis of the Intercom Sul, Educom Sul and Intercom Nacional papers, from 2010 to 2015. As specific objectives, this research seeks to: (i) know the specificities (concept, media, methodologies, references, Other categories) of the field in the South; (ii) identify the areas of social intervention in the proceedings of the annals of the congresses under analysis; (iii) describe the scientific capital, that is, the field research front from the bibliometric methodology, and (iv) describe the advances, challenges and trends of Educommunication in the southern region of the country. For that, a bibliometric mapping of 134 papers was carried out in the annals of the mentioned scientific events and the temporal cut. The data collected show that there is, in fact, a fertile ground in the three southern states of the country to consider Educommunication as a cross-curricular axis, since the new field is already consolidated as a practice in the South region, which reflects positively in the great Number of papers presented at the three scientific congresses addressed in this dissertation. |
