Resumo: | The present work has as main objective to carry out a study about the literary work A Confissão da Leoa, by Mia Couto, and the photographic series Muthianas and capulanas, by Albino Moisés. As a point in common between both works, there is the theme of the feminine, which is often presented as submissive, subaltern, or extolled and valued. Based on theoretical assumptions that can help to understand the space in which these works are located, it is intended to bring pertinent issues related to the African context, the feminine. Thus, starting from an interweaving of two distinct genres, two media (literature and photography), the objective is to conceptualize interdisciplinarity, initially, to then approach the real and the fictional, as well as the approach of time and its implications in each medium. The objects of study bring a particular world, which can be born in the (real) world itself, like the literary work in question. The documentary photography starts from a presupposition of a portrait of “the real”, roaming through the categories of the real and the fictional, as well as time. Thus, there is the realization that these “portraits” are constructed and presented from a point in common: focalization and framework. It is through this dialogical axis that we will analyze the corpus of the reaserch. From these intersections, this work seeks to establish dialogue between image and writing, as well as the points of convergence and divergence, similarities and differences around the image of the feminine in two different media. |
