Resumo: Popular festivities are cultural manifestations that portray, in the form of celebration and resistance, the life and history of those who participate in them. The presence and performance of women in a cultural manifestation group give it a communal character for exchanging knowledge and experiences. Furthermore, along with intersectional thinking, both women and popular cultures face hierarchies and silencing of the most diverse orders. Subverting hierarchical relationships, empowering oneself and imposing oneself in liquid modern society are the present challenges of those who live and participate in popular culture. As an objective, the research proposes to analyze the perspective of the members of the festivity Guerreiro Treme-Terra on the culture and popular art and the daily life in which they are inserted, as well as the social relations established for the group in the focus of the feminine gender, of the territoriality and accessibility. With regard to methodological procedures, the research had as its main axis the cartography method, which allows the researcher to experience the research in a subjective way along with the transformations during the process. For the best adaptation to what was intended, semi-open individual interviews and a focus group interview were carried out. The analyzes were carried out based on an exploratory perspective and using the theory of Dialogic Thematic Analysis. As a result, the research revealed that the relationship between women and the Guerreiro festivities is a consequence of the social interactions between them and that the popular cultural manifestation has a transforming effect on everyday community life through the phenomenon of culture. Other results presented the women's perception of their relevance in the popular culture of Penedo, as well as the relevance they have on the territory in which they reside, thus showing the process of personal and collective empowerment that happens concomitantly on the investigated experiences. Finally, it was possible to perceive how much the intersected social cuts were an important tool to know the different realities and the multiple perspectives of life of the women of Treme-Terra and their relationship with popular culture.
