Resumo: |
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the incorporation of two Sunn hemp species, organic and chemical fertilizers in the characteristics of development and production of okra, in soil chemical properties, in the infestation of nematodes and weeds and in soil water tension. The study was conducted in the experimental area Projeto Pequeno Produtor Grande Empreendedor of Instituto Gbarbosa, in partnership with Universidade Federal de Sergipe, located in the city of Itabaiana 56 km from the Capital, Aracaju - SE. Were used 16 treatments, are these: testimony, incorporation of Crotalaria juncea, incorporation of Crotalaria spectabilis and incorporation of both; with organic manures and organic manure with incorporation of sunn hemp; with chemical fertilizers and chemical fertilizers with incorporation of sunn hemp; with both fertilizers and both fertilizers with sunn hemp. Were evaluated the characteristics of development, plant height, leaf length and width, stem diameter, dry and fresh leaves, production characteristics, number, weight, fruit size and productivity. Were also evaluated soil characteristics, moisture, weed and nematode galls. The sunn hemp didn t show improvements in most of treatments, possibly due to the first cycle of cultivation. The sampling period of 107 days was too short, being determinant for productivity. The treatments with organic manure were the best for all features of development and production with larger plants, larger leaves, more marketable fruits per plant and higher productivities, with maximum productivity obtained in the treatment 14 (organic manure + chemical + C. juncea) (10.05 t ha-1). C. spectabilis showed higher concentration of nutrients, being 31.01, 23.41 and 5.03 g.kg-1 of N, P and K respectively. C. juncea showed 23.4 t ha-1 of fresh matter, greater than C. spectabilis. Green manure increased only for the variables of size of leaves, and promoted improvements in soil chemical properties. The chemical fertilizer resulted in higher levels of soil K, while the organic fertilizer with the use of crotalárias led to higher values of organic matter (O.M.) in the soil. All treatments were with moisture above field capacity. |
