Resumo: |
In the field of education, it is essential to emphasize themes that address the relationship between man, the environment and human awareness. This relationship becomes relevant so that people understand the world in which they live and start to respect nature, triggering quality of life for themselves and the entire population. As is known, education is one of the most effective tools to reframe ways of seeing and caring for our planet Earth, thus indicating a new model of behavior and seeking a balance in the environment. To this end, our work had the general objective of reflecting the formation of ecopedagogues with a main focus on the urban water-beak-school relationship, using Bica dos Pintos, located in the city of São Cristóvão-SE, as a research field. To carry out our work, we used as a theoretical and methodological support the studies of Freire (1979) and Loureiro (2003) related to Environmental Education; Gadotti (2009) with regard to ecopedagogy; Tundisi (2003) about urban waters; as well as Batista (2015) and Gadotti (1990) for the research method, in addition to Gil (2008), Gil and Godoy (1995), Lakatos and Marconi (2011) on methodology, among others of equal relevance. In this dissertation, we developed two projects, a continuing education course with students from undergraduate courses in Pedagogy and Biological Sciences at “Faculdades Integradas de Sergipe (FISE)”, which resulted in the construction of a documentary video as a didactic product. And a second course covering the dimensions and challenges of Environmental Education aimed at basic education students, specifically at the “Professor Manuel dos Passos Oliveira Teles” State School. On the occasion of this course, an electronic primer on the preservation of Bica dos Pintos was built by the students, which is located in the same city as the school participating in the research. As it is a qualitative research, which has a dialectical method, we use bibliographical and documentary surveys as a theoretical starting point, and in an empirical way the application of interviews for diagnostic analysis with the students involved. and residents around the bica. These activities allowed the discussion of the environmental problem with regard to the use of the waters of Bica dos Pintos and the conservation of the place, as well as the survey of possible solutions to problems encountered. It is worth mentioning that the knowledge dialogue enabled all involved to recognize themselves as the main actors in their history, each being encouraged to participate in the improvement of the place. Thus, in view of the students' involvement, it was possible to observe the critical and reflective look of each one about environmental problems, contributing to their citizen formation. |
