Resumo: |
This research is intended to analyze the integrated family agriculture and observing its limits, deadlocks and scope, and also identifying the main crops related agribusiness in the town of Lagarto. Being constructed from literature review on the production process and layout of Brazil and Sergipe agrarian areas, family farming and agribusiness; followed by field work with semi-structured questionnaires to use the technique of random sampling in the villages of Colonia do Treze, Fazenda Grade and Jenipapo; concluding with the collection of secondary data in federal and state agencies and entities, and in the counties of Lagarto like COHIDRO, EMDAGRO and IBGE. The town of Lagarto stands for tradition and development of several crops in small family units with reduced mechanical innovations, chemical and biological and intensive family work, which refutes the structurally low labor productivity and production volume. By municipal agricultural production data from 2008 and 2009 IBGE major crops in the county of Lagarto are: cassava, orange, passion fruit, papaya, corn, bananas and tobacco. The study of integrated family agriculture in Sergipe, in particular in this town took importance over the past three decades due to increasing economic participation of groups of family capital in the economy of the city, entering the nucleus of the agro industrial complex as a parameter of domination in all "lines" integrated chain. These groups are introducing changes in the spatial structure, with respect to membership and orientation of new crops. The "family agribusiness" emerges in the town with an opportunity to enter the small farmer production of agro-industrial system. The pioneering activity in this insertion was structurally countered that tobacco growing in the configuration space of the city in the 70, 80 and 90. During this period production was subordinateto the Maratá group and the José Rocha group. The new crops were inside the loop of lagartense agribusiness as cherry and pepper allowing greater dynamism of household production. The production of pepper has as destination the Maratá group that works making agreements in the region with pre-contract with small farmers, on the other hand orange and cherry are passed on to intermediaries who in turn distribute them to the juice industries in Estância/SE and the states of Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte. |
