Gêneros midiáticos no livro didático de língua portuguesa do ensino fundamental : constituição, formulação e circulação de sentidos

Resumo: This work consists of a discursive approach from the media genres in Portuguese language books. The study is based on a theoretical framework of French Discourse Analysis. Based on its postulations, we examine the creation, formulation and circulation of discourses in these media genres. In addition, we examine the conditions of reading production explored in these textbooks. The choice of the Discourse Analysis is due to its interest in the text, not by what it says, but as the text does it, allowing the reader to understand the ideological mechanisms present in it. In this study, we analyze the different discourses produced in five advertisements edited by some Portuguese language books, from 8th and 9th grades. For this reason, firstly we discuss the theory of mass media and the discourse theory, establishing a dialogue between them. Secondly, we explore issues relating to media genres, pedagogical discourse and NCP, with focus on reading. In the analyses of the corpus, we discuss the action of the dominant ideology (capitalist) in the textbook, reproducing the values and interests of the capitalist society. We verify that the textbook reading and the interpretation of the genres of advertising consider the effect evidence of the senses, and these ones are produced by ideology.
