The process of “become a state judge” at the Sergipe’s Court of Justice can be understood as an element of professional’s consagration reflected in itself, by the reason that’s showed more clearly the ascension of a person for the maximum post into this professional hierarchical structure. However, the forms of how it’s operated this ascension are not uniform, they can implie the mobilization of resources and habilities that are not restricted to the professional’s sphere and that can variate in terms of importance by the course of time. It’s exactly into this context where it’s edified the main problematich of this work, that means, the main idea here is to comprehend how it’s operated the process of “become a state judge” having as main focus the examination of the recruitment’s patterns of this professional elite, which implies in the evidenciation of the social resources that are mobilized by this population for the objective of reach this post by the course of time. Promote this debate allows a greater analysis of how “power” is structurated by Society, puting in perspective at the same time, the modalities and strategies of social groups whom are in dispute to reach these posts of prestige and power. Finally, it’s being proposed here the analysis of a professional elite as a main object of study, in which it will be possible to extract the most substancial elements to comprehend how it’s processed it’s dynamics and disputes, attenting at the same time to the possibilities of interconections by the political sphere and the professional sphere, that are permuted in this scenario.
