Resumo: |
Asset Management (AM) ensures that assets are properly acquired, utilized, maintained, renewed, updated, and disposed of appropriately, providing support to the organization’s operations. This involves the application of practices, policies, and processes to maximize operational efficiency, minimize risks, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and deliver sustainable value to stakeholders. In light of this, this work focused on the AM process of the department of works of the Court of Justice of the State of Sergipe (TJSE). For this study, theoretical references from the literature on Information Systems (IS), AM, Business Process Management (BPM), and Business Process Management and Notation (BPMN) were used. When modeling the current scenario (as is) of the Department of Works of the TJSE, it was identified that asset management is carried out strategically using Excel spreadsheets, which can be a time-consuming and error-prone process. In order to optimize and streamline the asset management process through the automation of tasks and workflows using BPMN notation, the Executive Information System (EIS) was modeled, documented, and validated using the Goal Question Metric (GQM), within two public services of the State of Sergipe, the Court of Justice and the Department of Education. It proved to be suitable for development, given the satisfactory outcome of the questionnaire applied to the two services. The EIS allows for a clear and intuitive visualization of processes, facilitating decision-making and improving the department’s operational efficiency. Furthermore, it enables centralized information storage, data sharing among teams, and the generation of automated reports, bringing significant benefits to the department of works, including error reduction, agility in accessing information, resource optimization, and improvement in strategic decision-making. The use of BPMN as the foundation for the system guarantees a comprehensive visual representation of processes, facilitating collaboration among teams and promoting a more operational asset management of the Court of Justice of Sergipe. |
