The work deals with the development of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC), especially digital media aimed at tourism in the public sector. Thus, it is claimed that the management of tourist information, via these media, can be a tool for the promotion of tourist locations. With this, the research aims to develop a mobile application for smartphones aimed at the management of tourist information of the Estância/Sergipe destination, so that the public management of the destination can promote its tourist information and attractions. For this, the present investigation has a qualitative approach with an exploratory-descriptive aspect and applied nature. Among the methodological procedures used, bibliographic research, interviews with tourist service providers and the municipality's public manager are listed. From the analysis of the collected data, it was verified that the Estância destination has a consolidated space in the local, state and national tourist market, whether due to the natural beauties of the coast or the popular culture and tradition of the destination. However, it is clear that the public management of the destination has some weaknesses in terms of information, promotion and public policies within the municipal government. From this perspective, the main result of the research is the development of the application "Vem Para Estância" that seeks to facilitate the informational process of tourists/visitors during their visit to Estância, also serving as an instrument for the promotion, strengthening and development of local tourism marketing. . The application provides users with access to information quickly, intuitively and in real time, facilitating the search for services and attractions. |
