O lugar do gênero discursivo no Celpe-Bras: o contraste entre reportagens em circulação no Sudeste e no Nordeste brasileiro

Resumo: Celpe-Bras is the official exam of Brazil which certifies the proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese as a foreign language. It is divided in an oral and a written part and whose extra texts are authentic and mediatic discursive genres. Given that Brazil has a continental dimension, this work aims to identify if there is a representation of all the regions of the country, ergo the problem of this research emerges, which is: understanding the relation between the preponderant, report, genre found in the Celpe-Bras e the representativeness that this genre has in relation to the diversity of Brazilian Portuguese. From that point, the goal set is the investigation of the impacts of a discursive genre present in the Celpe-Bras exam to understand the possibilities of record of the Brazilian Portuguese diversity. This analysis is ruled in the bakhtinian’s concept of content (BAKHTIN, 2013 [1942-1945]) and will be done through a comparison between two corpora, which will be realized based on the quantitativequalitative methodology. The analysis aims to comprehend the organization of the official documents of Celpe-Bras. At first, the corpora of this research are constituted of reporting taken from the input material of the exam and from websites of northeastern newspapers. Thus, after separating all this reporting used in the more than twenty years of exam, reporting was collected from the northeastern area of circulation with similar thematic content, in order to observe if, when approaching the thematic, the material distinguishes itself regarding the content of genre, with special interest in the representativeness of the northeast in the input that composes the exams. It is a documental investigation which contains and has as theoretical contribution the concepts of proficiency exam and activity, both important to the understanding of how the Celpe-Bras is structured (BROW, 2005; SCARAMUCCI, 2000, 2001, 2012; WIDDOWSON, 1991; ZANÓN, 1999). In order to deal with the concept of discursive genre, the works from Bakhtin (1997, 2016 [1952-1953]), Fiorin (2016) and Rojo (2005) were used. The more specific literature about the content in this work is formed mainly by Bakhtin (2013 [1942-1945], 2016 [1952-1953]), Volóchinov (2017 [1929]), Fiorin (2016) and Azevedo (2018). As for results, it was verified the predominance of the reporting genre in relation to the other discursive genres present in the input of Celpe-Bras and in the northeast area of circulation, henceforth corpora of this investigation, there is a difference between the styles that composes it. Regarding the style, this work took as analytical basis a specific linguistic usage, the analytical passive voice, considering that the style of genre corresponds to the linguistics uses contained in it. The difference of styles between the same discursive genre in different regions sparked the debate of this work around the limitation of the predominant genre in the goal of the input material of activities III and IV of the Celpe-Bras exam.
