This study aimed to investigate the main morphometry, the flow, the water quality and the soil use of the river basin of the igarapé Carrapato, located in Boa Vista, RR. For the morphometry of the basins igarapé Carrapato maps were used in mapping and urveying field with the use of GPS and altimeter. For the flow, measures have been taken with the monthly use of a reel, over a year. For the water quality, in four points of the stretch of main water, water was collected to evaluate the turbidity, the levels of potassium and iron, pH, electrical conductivity, levels of sodium, calcium and magnesium. The climatological water balance (BHC) of the basin was done using the data collected from the basin and the precipitation and evapotranspiration estimated by Penman- Monteith FAO |
