Resumo: Nowadays, society is embedded in economic and social development dynamics, whose understanding also goes through the understanding of the consumer relations that are established. This reality, systemic and global, is also present in national and regional spaces and it is precisely because of this context of interdependence, mediated by consumer relations, that the current economic model targets the processes of consumption and production of goods and services. Faced with these paradoxical discrepancies, where on the one hand there is the relation of consumption as a marker of the economic system and on the other hand, there is the action of corporations that become capable of interfering, for their own benefit, in the consumption relation itself if it is established, a more in-depth analysis of issues such as (i) vulnerability and (ii) consumers' hypersufficiency towards suppliers become even more relevant. In the meantime, when consumer relations are established, the disadvantages imposed on consumers by suppliers may even pose health risks. There is also the lack of adequate information regarding the dangerousness of certain products, as well as the presentation of dubious clauses in contracts and security problems. It is, therefore, faced with so many disadvantages imposed on consumers in their consumer relations, as well as the fundamental importance of these relations for regional development, that Consumer Law and the organs and institutions that integrate it, are presented as a guiding axis capable of restoring order and fair distribution among participants in economic transactions. Therefore, in order to better understand how the links between consumers and suppliers in consumer relations are established, and taking these relations as one of the fundamental elements of the current regional economic development, that the present research is inserted.
