Resumo: | The respective academic survey aims to comprehend the dynamics of the use of night entertainment spaces around urban area in Boa vista, in the state of Roraima, specifically at night commercial environments, in different point of this city. However, based on information from questionnaires and interviews applied to its population distributed in five zones of the city, besides the theoretical base on space, territory, and commerce and night leisure in the historical context of Boa vista city. Trade is one of the factors that lead to its development. In the past few years, Boa vista has attracted new commercial investors focused on night shift service, which has led to establishments for leisure, specially its sale in drinks and fast food and increasing the movement of people around it. Public spaces are also are also operated as well, one of the reason is due to government investment that encourage its production at night, such as street lighting, squares restructuring and security. According to its context, the research highlights its satisfaction while going out at night to have fun, as well as presenting its preferential spaces in different places of the city. Based on it, we verified its change in people’s perception in making the use of places at night, even if in public or private ones due to amendments in recent years and the insertion of formal and informal establishments and spatial valorization, occurring new ways of using its urban land. |
