Resumo: | The aim of this work is the analysis of buildings structures constituted of beams and colunms. The structure is idealized as a three-dimensional assemblage of this components, subjected to vertical or lateral static loadings, foundation settlements, and possible elastic supports. It is assumed that the floor slabs are infinitely rigid in their own planes and with no bending stiffness. The analysis is linear elastic and the displacement method in a matrix formulation is used. Special attention is paid to the warping effects in thin-walled open section colunrns when subjected to torsional loadings. A computational program in FORTRAN was developed for microcomputer of 64 Kbytes of RAM memory and 2 drives units. The input data is interative in a conversational rnanner. The adopted computational techniques (storage of the stiffness matrise in skyline mode and assemblage of this matrix in blocks) for the solution of the equation system in terms of relative floor displacements, have proved to be efficients, though the analysis of some exarnples. However, the used microcomputer had inadequate available memory for the analysis of current buildings structures. |
