Resumo: The evaluation of knowledge quality is a subject rarely discussed in the knowledge management literature. Perhaps this gap can be attributed to the difficulty of the task in question, and tacit knowledge is a type of knowledge difficult to measure, which contributes to the difficulty of assessing its quality. Based on this context, we have developed a proposal of an evaluation process of the knowledge quality, which consists in the elaboration of steps and activities for the evaluation of the knowledge quality, based on the distribution of scenario analysis tasks. We also introduce a new concept of knowledge type, knowledge for use, which is defined as the combination of tacit knowledge, explicit knowledge and all kinds of knowledge acquired by an individual throughout his or her life. And we present a view of the state of the art of the knowledge quality area. For the consolidation of the evaluation process an exploratory case study was carried out, so that the participants answered the scenario analysis tasks. Where it was possible to evaluate the quality of knowledge for use and to make the intercession between knowledge. Therefore, we design an evaluation methodology that can be applied to the context of knowledge quality evaluation. At the same time, it can be used to evaluate the quality of different types of knowledge, depending on the desired context.
