Resumo: This dissertation aims to bring to light the knowledge of Tukano mythology that, for many years, have been preserved through orality, since orality governed the entire set of values and rules, mythological and cosmological thought, fundamental factors, which governed strongly the life of the Yepá Mahsã people. The specific objectives are: to understand the mythological universe of creation as an importantaspect, which after that begins all the living, coexistence and experience through blessing, ritual, belief, regulated food, union of the human being with the environment; knowing the mythological narrative, as a striking feature, which influenced the organization of the society of the indigenous Yepá Mahsã people, which remained in the social context in the past and today; report the place of the indigenous women in this social organization and the acts of violence against women that did not fit the precepts of society and narrate the many forms of resistance of this discriminated woman. The methodology used is qualitative and descriptive field research, whose purpose was to seek wise elderly people possessing the knowledge of the narratives of the mythology of creation andespecially of how the emergence of women was and their remarkable presence in the history of creation. Our consultants are the shamans who know the mythological narratives. The storytellers narrated in Tukano and we translated into Portuguese. The theoretical assumptions follow the foundations of the School of Discourse Analysis, founded by Pêcheux, in addition to others brought by Foucault.
