The social impact of Goiânia nuclear acident is analised from a semiotic investigation upon papers issued on popular magazins, newspapers and scientific periodics. Also the communication of Science Information is discussed through three basic models: Difusionist, bibliometric and cultural perspectives. Divulgation and difusion process of scientific information are reviewed on the bases of theory of representation and theory of sign. The relationship between Energy and Society is discussed throught a compared analisis upon the informations sources avaiable to public and scientific community.
