Resumo: | The production of enriched and/or purified O2 is closely linked to energy and environmental aspects. So, one of technology alternatives to reduce O2 production cost are membranes for gas separation. But, to compete with conventional separation technologies, the development of new materials have been investigated such as mixed matrix membranes (MMM). In this context, the objectives of this work are the development of MMM preparation methodologies using polyurethane (PU) and zeolites 4A e 5A, further on morphological, structural, thermal and transport properties characterizations of MMM for O2/N2 separation. Among developed methodologies, MT1 provided an increase of 140% in selectivity of O2/N2 through MMM PU+Z5A15%. Furthermore, hollow fiber membranes with inside selective layer were produced which better morphology was obtained by spinning condition at GAP of 5 cm and selective solution pressure of 1,0 bar. Therefore, the results provided in this work show that the technology is promising to improve the efficiency of O2/N2 separation. |
