This work presents the study of the flexible pipeline installation in ultra deep waters. In this context, the Lazy Wave configuration methodology is presented, which is an efficient configuration of flexible pipelines for deep waters. Numerical analyses will be carried out in order how the flexible pipeline installation is realized, the ORCAFLEX software will be used for the model, with the aim of analysing the critical steps and boundary conditions will be presented, ensuring the installation window and showing the main steps to consider in the installation analysis for the success of the operation. Studies will be presented for different installation steps, considering the incidence of waves in different directions, heights and periods as well, in order to present the installation methodology.
