Resumo: | The thesis presents a review of the better known design methods for mat foundations and their application to practical cases. The main objective of the thesis is to establish criteria for the computation of internal forces in mat foundations, following a comparative study of the various models and methods proposed in the technical literature and Codes of Practice. |
