The objective of this thesis is to propose different solutions to improve the efficiency of the maritime component of the offshore logistics chain of a Brazilian oil company. A simulation model was developed in order to evaluate different operational strategies involving general cargo, water and diesel. In each scenario, the necessary fleet for delivery the products and the service levels were evaluated. Analyses were performed, based on a historical scenario of the company. The results show that there are more efficient operational strategies than the historical one, in which it is possible to reduce the fleet of supply vessels and increase the service levels.
